See your project and experiment with different colors, finishes, and layouts with our in-house designs. We can provide photo-realistic renderings that will take the guess work out of how your finished product will look.

Online Access

View and manage things like; scheduling, selections, change orders, budget, payments, photos, documents, and communications from our exclusive on-line system.


Proof of Establishment

Many contractors use a pickup truck for an office and showroom. Make sure that any contractor you're dealing with is substantial enough to have a real office with all of the normal business functions; accounting, production, sales, etc. If a contractor does not have an office, that should tell you something. Here at Revamp we have a staffed office with a showroom available for our clients to pop by anytime!

Business Licenses

Revamp Renovation Services Inc. is a registered corporation to carry out home renovations and remodels.


You need to know if your contractor carries general liability insurance and is in good standings with the W.S.I.B. A sizable contractor will carry no less than $500,000... and usually ariund $1,000,000 of coverage in the event something does go wrong. Revamp carries and will provide proof of insurance in the amount of $2,000,000.00 and can provide clearance certificates from the W.S.I.B.

Do NOT deal with a contractor without proof of liability insurance coverage, or you will foot the bill if there's a mistake.


Don't Fake It

You can tell a great deal about a contractor based on what others are saying about them - particularly their customers. The old advice of "ask for 3 references" is just too easy to fake. You'll need to get a little tougher with your contractor to protect yourself.

Online Presence

Look for social media accounts and other public forums for customer feedback and reviews. People should be saying something; good or bad. So be wary of companies that "Hide" the customer feedback or reviews.

Ask For Real References

Make sure you aren't getting someones brother-in-law or sister on the phone. Ask if you can contact their current clients and even better, see if its possible to visit a current job site they are working on!


Details, Details, Details

A good contractor doesn't just do good work. They also understand that when dealing with customers, it's oftentimes the little things that make a big difference. You should find a contractor that shows you respect by the way they treat you, the way they treat your property, they way they look, and how they pay attention to details.

No Tricks, No Pressure

Many unethical contractors will resort to high-pressure sales tactics to get you to buy before you've had an opportunity to do proper due diligence on them. If you know nothing about the contractor prior to the sales call (from literature, references, online information), and they give you a low-ball price "but only if you buy right this minute," you should be wary.

Revamp believes in the "slow down" sales process and we want to make sure all details and costs are clearly understood.

Property Protection Program

Your home and yard should be cleared of large debris, and dangerous materials daily by the crew. After the job is completed, a total home cleanup should take place, including nail/screw detection (with a specialized magnet) and removal of any hazardous materials in your house or yard. Make sure your contractor has a predetermined daily job site cleanup routine, and a more thorough cleanup routine upon completion of the job.

All Revamp staff follow this multi-step cleanup roster at the end of EVERY SINGLE DAY.

Worker Conduct

All Revamp employees sign a "Worker Conduct Agreement" to pledge that they will conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner at all times.


Do It Right The First Time

Ultimately, any contractor has to be competent to do the job right the first time. Competence comes as a result of training, experience, and good old-fashioned hard work. As you evaluate a contractor, look for signs that they can do the job right the first time.

Revamp has a committed and experienced team and always uses the appropriate trades for their respected task.

Written Warranty

Always ask for a written warranty. Most contractors do not have a written warranty. Revamp has a standard One year Warranty with our projects. Additionally, service to our customers is very important to us; so important, that upon project completion, if a client is willing to complete a customer survey to help us improve our services, Revamp will extend the warranty to 24 months - free of charge.

Project Photos

A contractor who serves his customers well should be proud to present pictures of the work they've done - for inspiration for your own project and to gauge the quality of the work they've done in the past. If no photos can be produced, that should be a major warning sign.

Revamp uses many methods of showing off work; our showroom, social media, in person, or sharing photos.
